How We Work
Graduation is an exciting time and your senior portrait is the best way to keep it fresh in your memory. Getting a good picture does not need to be complicated or expensive.
Of course, we can do studio portraits and you will look great, but we also go on location anywhere within about a 45 minute drive from Lenexa. Parks are always a good choice, but how about the mall, playing fields, the Plaza, downtown KC or even someplace at night. We have even shot portraits in a cemetery! The point is that everyone has their own ideas how they want to appear and we are here to make it happen.
You can bring additional outfits and small props. You can even bring a friend! There is no time limit, but most shoots take less than two hours.
A few days after the shoot we email you previews. Or, better, you may come to our location and view your previews an a computer. That way we can decide what special effects you want. Either way, you select the poses you want and we make really great prints of them.

Do's and Don'ts
- Get a good night's sleep for several nights before the shoot.
- Don't wear wildly patterned clothes with writing. We don't want anything to detract from you.
- Do bring your own makeup
- Don't bring food, we provide drinks
- You may bring a boombox with your favorite music
- You may bring a friend
- Plan on having fun
- There is no hurry, this is low stress

Products and Prices
Studio Sitting $30
About 30 poses, up to two different outfits, head and shoulders or full length, textured background.
On-Location sitting $75
About 30 poses, up to two different outfits (remember, it is difficult to completely change outfits outdoors). One in-door or outdoor location within a 45 minute drive from Lenexa. You are responsible for obtaining any permissions needed if private property is selected. you are also responsible for paying any admission and/or parking fees for yourself, guests and two photographers.
Prints
All prints are diditally printed on heavy, high quality archival material. All prints are retouched and enhanced to look really good.
One 16x20" print $40 Additional copies $20 each
One 11x14" print $25 Additional copies $13 each
One 8x10" print $15 Additional copies $9 each
Sheet of two 5x7' prints $15 Additional copies $9 each
Sheet of four 4x5" prints $15 Additional copies $9 each
Sheet of eight wallets $15 Additional copies $9 each
Where applicable, Kansas tax will be added.

Fine Print, Details, Limitations and Gotchas
If you request it, normal retouching to reduce lines around eyes, mouth and neck is included in the price as is reduction of minor skin blemishes and moles. Don't be shy about asking for retouching, everyone does it. Hair and clothing changes are not included in normal retouching. If you don't like any of the previews because of technical problems, we will re-shoot at no cost or refund your money. If you don't like your clothes or expressions etc, you get to pay for a re-shoot.
How to order
- Call us to discuss the kind of sitting you want and to set a date and time. Payment is due at the time of sitting. Previews will be emailed to you within one week of sitting.
- After viewing the previews, you come to out studio to select the poses you want printed, specify any modifications and order your prints. Black and white, sepia and many special effects are available at no or low cost. Payment for prints is due at time of order.
- Prints will be ready for pickup within two weeks, usually sooner.
- Prints can be mailed to you. Packing and shipping charge: $10 - regardless of size of order
- Kansas tax is added when applicable.
